Fed: Aborigines will burn, baby, burn, says Perkins

Aboriginal activist, CHARLES PERKINS, has told Channel Nine that Australians can forget
about the Olympics, as plans for Aboriginal demonstrations over the stolen generations
continue full throttle.

MR PERKINS has accused the federal government of being racist and Prime Minister JOHN
HOWARD of being a reincarnated PAULINE HANSON.

His furious comments came as Aboriginal Affairs Minister JOHN HERRON again questioned
the size of the stolen generation of Aboriginal children.

MR PERKINS says from now on it's burn, baby, burn and he's warned that anything can happen.

Mr PERKINS says likening the stolen generations to the Jewish Holocaust was legitimate
because the principle was the same, whatever the difference in the number of people killed.

He says Aboriginal people were not so much interested in compensation as wanting compassion.
